Duplicating an event in the web app allows you to save time by creating a new event based on an existing one. Follow the steps below to easily duplicate an event and customize it to your needs.
Step 1: Login to Your Account
- Open the web app.
- Enter your login credentials and sign in.
Step 2: Select the Event to Duplicate
- Navigate to the Requests section.
- Find and select the event you want to duplicate.
Step 3: Access the Duplicate Option
- Click on Options in the top right corner.
- Select Duplicate from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Choose Duplication Settings
You will be given two duplication options:
- Create a recurrence: Set up a repeating event on specific days.
- Duplicate for specific dates: Select individual dates for the duplicated event.
Step 5: Customize the Duplicated Event
You will have the option to keep certain details from the original event:
- Keep the shifts assigned to the same guards: If selected, the assigned guards will automatically be assigned to the same shifts in the duplicated event.
- Keep documents: If selected, all attached documents will be available in the duplicated event.
- Keep positions: If selected, the assigned positions will be retained in the duplicated event.
Once you've made your selections, confirm the duplication, and your new event will be created.
