The onboarding process in Archerapp.io is designed to manage guards who have applied but have not yet started working. It ensures a smooth transition through various stages, preparing them for their first shift. Here’s a detailed breakdown of how the onboarding works:
The 5 Steps of Onboarding

New Apply

This step displays guards who have been added or who have applied to join.

Use this stage to validate their information and/or wait for the guard to accept your invitation.

Interview

Adding a guard to the Interview step sends them an email notifying them that you will contact them (manually) to schedule an interview.

If your plan includes the feature, you can add a custom link (e.g., Calendly) to allow guards to schedule their interview automatically.

Contract

Moving a guard to the Contract step sends them an email notifying them that you will contact them (manually) regarding their contract.

If your plan supports it, you can send a digital contract through services like PandaDoc, DocuSign, and others.

Ready to Work

Once a guard is active but has not yet worked or been assigned a shift, they will appear here.

This stage lists all active guards who are ready for their first assignment.

First Shift

This stage is similar to the "Ready to Work" status but includes guards who have been assigned their first shift.

Use this step to prepare for their first shift, including providing uniforms, sharing important information, and other essential preparations.

Managing Guard Status
You can update a guard’s status directly from their profile:

Go to the guard’s profile.

Use the Employee Status option on the right side to change their onboarding status.
